ALECTO RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a Senior Audio Visual Engineer for luxury residential smart-home installations in London. You’ll join a team delivering high-end AV and smart-home systems from second fix through handover, with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in residential AV, familiarity with Control4 and Crestron, and a professional, client-facing approach.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior AV Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering luxury residential smart-home installations from second fix through to handover.

Responsibilities include:

• Installing and commissioning high-end smart-home and AV systems
• Second-fix installation of:
• Control4
• Crestron
• Home cinema systems
• Motorised blinds and shading
• Networking infrastructure
• Smart lighting and climate control systems
• Rack building, equipment installation, and system testing
• Assisting with commissioning and project handover
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Working closely with programmers, project managers, electricians, and other site contractors
• Maintaining exceptional installation standards and site professionalism
• Representing the client positively in front of clients and project stakeholders

What the Client is Looking for

You'll already have experience working within the residential smart-home, AV, or home automation industry.

• Proven experience installing high-end residential AV and smart-home systems
• Good understanding of:
• Control4
• Crestron
• Distributed audio and video
• Experience with second-fix installations and commissioning support
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Professional and client-facing approach
• Full UK driving licence

Highly Desirable

• CEDIA certifications
• Experience with enterprise or residential networking
• Knowledge of home cinema installations
• Understanding of rack design and cable management best practices
• Experience with luxury residential construction environments
