Job summary
DNA Recruit collaborates with a leading global live events and AV production business to appoint an Audio Technical Specialist for an active, hands-on role in planning, design and onsite delivery of audio systems for corporate and live events.
The role involves taking ownership of audio setups, mentoring technicians and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery across diverse events.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in professional live events audio.
- Experience delivering large-scale corporate events.
- Advanced knowledge of Yamaha, DiGiCo and Allen & Heath consoles.
- Experience designing and deploying PA systems including line array.
Responsibilities
- Designing and planning audio systems for live and corporate events.
- Collaborating with Project Managers to determine equipment requirements.
- Designing and deploying PA systems (line array and distributed).
- Using audio simulation/design software for system optimization.
- Producing and communicating technical documentation.
- Operating mixing consoles on large-scale events.
- Building and tuning systems from major brands.
- Coordinating RF microphone and IEM deployments.
- Programming wired/wireless comms systems.
- Troubleshooting live delivery issues.
- Supervising onsite technicians from setup to breakdown.
- Liaising with freelancers and suppliers to crew projects.
