Job summary

Side is seeking a Post-Production Lead in London to drive senior technical post-production support across projects. The role is on-site with casual/zero-hours dynamics, and involves mentoring and hands-on editing, QA, and mastering to meet client specs.

You will work with the Post-Production Manager and Head of Post-Production to ensure high-quality audio across projects, guiding workflows and maintaining delivery standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience within a commercial audio post-production environment.
• Experience delivering dialogue editing, QA and/or mastering to professional client standards.
• Experience working on multiple concurrent projects, including high-volume or multilingual content.
• Experience mentoring or guiding colleagues in a technical team.
• Experience identifying technical or quality issues and supporting their resolution.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior technical point of support for the Post-Production team.
• Provide guidance on dialogue editing, QA, and mastering.
• Carry out quality reviews to ensure delivery standards.
• Share knowledge of client specifications and internal standards.
• Mentor team members and conduct development 1:1s.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members.
• Coordinate post-production activity and project priorities.
• Escalate client or delivery concerns to Post-Production Manager.
• Represent the Post-Production team in project discussions.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in post-production when required.
