Job summary

Naim Audio Ltd in Salisbury seeks a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join the R&D team. You will design electronics for our HiFi systems and collaborate with software, mechanical and test engineers to deliver production-ready circuits.

From concept through production you will prototype, simulate, layout PCBs and ensure EMC/ESD compliance. A strong background in DSP/FPGA and analogue design is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics engineering or similar discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial electronics design.
• Deep knowledge of digital systems including DSP/FPGA.
• Experience with analog design and RF considerations.
• Capable of lab debugging with modern test equipment.
• Familiar with Altium; understanding of RoHS/REACH compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electronics for high-end HiFi systems.
• Schematic design and PCB layout from concept to production.
• Collaborate with Embedded Software, Mechanical, and Test teams.
• Perform EMC/ESD analysis and prototyping.
• Evaluate components for long-term reliability and supply.
