Barco’s Consumer Experience team in Salisbury is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to lead the development of next‑generation high‑end HiFi systems for Naim Audio and premium speaker solutions for Focal. You will own the design and implementation of advanced electronic circuits, contributing directly to performance and sound quality.

Working with Embedded Software, Mechanical, and Test engineers, you will oversee the full product lifecycle from concept to production, select reliable

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of commercial electronic product design experience.
• Strong expertise in digital systems, FPGA or RF technologies.
• Experience with EMC/ESD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital electronics including microprocessors, DSP, FPGA, DAC/ADC, Ethernet, and DDR memory
• Develop high-speed digital designs and power supplies
• Design and simulate analogue circuits, including amplifiers and filters
• Prototype, test, and validate PCBs and circuits
• Ensure EMC/ESD compliance and pre-compliance assessments
• Collaborate across embedded software, mechanical, and test teams
• Define technical specifications and support component sourcing
