Job summary

JP Morgan Chase is seeking a Fund Accounting UK Corporation Tax Oversight & Governance Senior Associate/Associate to deliver governance, oversight and control across the UK Corporation Tax operating model. You will partner with Operations, Product and Technology to mitigate risks and drive improvements within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Services Operations, Fund Accounting, Tax Operations or related governance.
• Strong understanding of operational risk and control principles.
• Proven ability to investigate, analyse and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Experience preparing management information and reports for senior leaders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficient in PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Execute governance and oversight duties across the UK Corporation Tax operating model.
• Review and challenge tax classifications and UK tax treatments across products and structures.
• Facilitate governance forums and document actions, decisions and risks.
• Enhance control framework to strengthen regulatory compliance and resilience.
• Collaborate with operations to improve data quality and consistency.
• Contribute to business requirements, process design, governance reviews and implementations.
• Support transformation programmes with subject matter expertise.
• Produce governance reporting, KRI data and executive updates.
• Support year-end UK Corporation Tax assurance and readiness activities.
• Build relationships across Operations, Product, Technology, Tax, Finance and Control.
• Promote best practices in governance, risk management and control.
