Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Bournemouth invites applications for a Compliance Senior Associate in the GFCC Sanctions Investigations team. You will investigate potential breaches across the EMEA region and support reporting to sanctions authorities, while advising Trade and Working Capital on sanctions matters.

You will develop knowledge of UK, EU and US sanctions programs, provide training, and maintain strong controls and documentation to support risk management in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in sanctions and/or AML preferred.
• Ability to work independently and think critically in ambiguous situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Investigate sanctions breaches across the EMEA with thorough analysis and documented findings.
• Support reporting to sanctions authorities with concise, high-quality submissions.
• Maintain investigation records and produce metrics reports for senior management.
• Act as a point of contact for sanctions escalations for Trade & Working Capital.
• Maintain knowledge of UK/EU/US sanctions programs to advise stakeholders.
• Provide training and guidance; respond to escalations and update guidance.
• Demonstrate quality-focused work ethic and strong controls mindset.
• Prioritize multiple asks and escalate key risks to management.
