Job summary

J.P. MORGAN is seeking a Compliance Senior Associate to join the GFCC Sanctions Investigations team in EMEA.

You will investigate potential breaches of sanctions, support reporting to authorities, maintain records, and advise on sanctions-related risks for Trade and Working Capital businesses across the region. You will develop knowledge of UK, EU and US sanctions programs, provide guidance, deliver training, and maintain a strong control mindset in a fast-paced environment with multiple

Responsibilities

• Investigate potential sanctions breaches across the EMEA region with thorough analysis and clear documentation.
• Support reporting to sanctions authorities where required with concise submissions.
• Maintain investigation records and generate metrics for senior management.
• Serve as sanctions escalation point for Trade and Working Capital, reviewing escalations and advising on risk.
• Develop knowledge of UK, EU, US and other sanctions programs to advise stakeholders.
• Provide training and guidance on sanctions controls and guidance updates.
• Demonstrate strong control mindset and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and ensure timely escalation of risks to management.
