Job summary

Trowers & Hamlins is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to support the enfranchisement team within the Dispute Resolution and Litigation department in Manchester. The role involves advising landlords, investors, developers and tenants on statutory lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, Right to Manage and related matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of freehold and leasehold enfranchisement.
• Drive and enthusiasm with a client-focused approach.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work to deadlines.
• Strong technical and communication skills, including clear English writing.
• Good interpersonal and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the enfranchisement team within Property Disputes.
• Act for landlords, investors, developers and tenants in enfranchisement matters.
• Handle statutory lease extension, collective enfranchisement and Right to Manage claims.
• Negotiate settlements and advise on proposed terms.
• Build relationships and participate in marketing and training sessions.
