Overview

Enfranchisement/Property Litigation Lawyer – Greater London. An exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join a modern, progressive top-tier firm with strong growth plans and a focus on development of its lawyers. Based in East London, the firm supports a high-caliber client base and offers state-of-the-art systems and first-class management.

The successful candidate will work on a broad mix of high-quality work, including residential and commercial landlord and tenant disputes, leasehold enfranchisement, right to manage claims, boundary disputes, and other contentious property matters. You will advise a diverse client base including landlords, tenants, developers, managing agents, and leaseholders, and will have the opportunity to run your own caseload with appropriate support and supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a broad mix of enfranchisement and property litigation matters, including leasehold enfranchisement, right to manage, boundary disputes, and related contentious issues.
  • Advise a diverse client base (landlords, tenants, developers, managing agents, leaseholders) and manage own caseload with supervision.
  • Provide clear, proactive client service and contribute to business development where appropriate.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Solid experience in leasehold enfranchisement and contentious property matters.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation (Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993, Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, etc.).
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
  • Client-focused, proactive, and commercially aware approach.
