Qualifications

• Senior leader with significant experience of financial and corporate governance.
• Strong understanding of audit committee practices, risk management and corporate governance.
• Finance qualification and previous non-executive experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Attend Audit Committees in common and Board meetings; support committees and governance.
• Shape long-term, viable plans for the ICBs and stewardship of public money.
• Promote open, transparent decision-making and constructive, independent challenge.
