Job summary

Spinwell Ltd is recruiting a Deputy Group Chief Governance Officer for an excellent public sector opportunity. The role is hybrid with Shrewsbury on-site three days per week, offering a strategic leadership position across two NHS organisations to strengthen governance, risk management and information governance.

Qualifications

• Chartered Governance Institute qualification and/or Masters level qualification.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Senior leadership experience within governance, corporate affairs, risk, assurance or a related function within the NHS.
• Demonstrable experience of advising Boards, Committees, Chairs and Executive Directors on governance, risk and regulatory matters.
• Experience of developing, implementing and improving governance and assurance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an integrated governance framework across the Group.
• Support two statutory NHS organisations with robust governance arrangements.
• Provide strategic leadership across Board Governance, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Freedom to Speak Up, Information Governance, Data Protection and related assurance.
• Lead governance structures and oversee other strategic Group programmes as required.
• Collaborate with regulators and system partners to promote transparency and learning across the Group.
