TML Recruitment is partnering with a leading UK property practice to recruit for an Infrastructure Services role in Bury St Edmunds. You will oversee land consultancy strategy, advise clients on land and rights, and coordinate across planning, compensation, and reinstatement processes.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, reporting, and mentoring graduates within a growing team. A MRICS or AssocRICS qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee land consultancy strategy and execution for infrastructure projects locally and nationally.
• Provide expert land consultancy advice across project types, including new equipment installations.
• Manage land referencing, statutory notices, compensation negotiations and reinstatement guidance.
• Liaise with landowners and stakeholders; contribute to broader stakeholder management.
• Report to clients via structured reports, KPI updates, and regular communications.
• Negotiate and secure land and rights for delivery, including CPO/DCO processes.
• Support wider business initiatives beyond client projects.
• Contribute to financial reporting and invoicing at project and team levels.
• Mentor graduates within the team to support professional development.

TML Recruitment are partnered with a leading UK wide property practice in their search for a candidate to join their Infrastructure Services division. The division assists in delivering projects to build a more sustainable and long-lasting Infrastructure for the UK on behalf of clients across of a range of different sectors including electricity, gas, water, fibre optics, oil, and renewables.

Our client prides themselves on understanding their clients' specific requirements and industry developments, as well as maintaining and developing their professional team and continuing the development of their systems to assist in high quality service delivery. The role will be varied, including project managing from routing, through to construction and completion, and providing consultancy services associated with benchmarking, procedures and management systems.

Our clients Bury St Edmunds team is going through a period of rapid growth and consists of 15 team members responsible for delivering an exceptional level of service delivery to their clients.They will shortly be expanding into additional office space and will welcome dynamic, hard working team players to support their future aspirations.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Overseeing land consultancy strategy and execution for infrastructure projects at both local and national levels.
• Providing expert land consultancy advice and support to clients on various project types, including maintaining existing infrastructure and installing new equipment.
• Engaging in land consultancy processes from initial planning through to project completion, covering land referencing, statutory notice preparation and service, compensation negotiations, and reinstatement guidance.
• Liaising directly with landowners, advising clients on all aspects of their interactions, contributing to broader stakeholder management strategies, and handling public enquiries.
• Reporting directly to clients through structured reports, KPI updates, and regular communications.
• Negotiating and securing land and rights required for project delivery, including CPO/DCO processes.
• Assisting with wider business initiatives beyond direct client projects.
• Contributing to financial reporting at both project and team levels, including invoicing.
• Supporting the development and mentoring of graduates within the team to help them reach their professional goals.

• MRICS or AssocRICS qualifications (preferably)
