DWF is seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded Senior Associate to join our nationally recognised Insurance Fraud team. This is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career within a fast‑paced and growing practice, working with major insurers and household‑name clients on complex, high‑value fraud litigation. You will handle a challenging caseload, provide strategic advice on high‑profile claims, and play a key role in the continued success of the team.

The role sits within our Liverpool team; however, we are open to candidates based in Liverpool or Manchester, with a hybrid working approach and office attendance typically required once per week.

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead on complex and high‑value fraudulent claims, including motor, EL/PL, staged/contrived accidents, and organised fraud rings.
  • Supervise junior team members and contribute to training and development.
  • Build strong client relationships with major insurers, delivering strategic and technical advice.
  • Play a key role in business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the Fraud practice.
  • Engage in litigation strategy, advocacy, and trial preparation for technically challenging matters.
What will help you succeed in this role?
  • 4+ years PQE with experience in insurance fraud, Personal Injury or Catastrophic Injury (claimant or defendant).
  • A proven track record of running a complex caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Commercial acumen and experience in delivering excellent client service.
  • A proactive approach to file strategy, innovation, and cost management.
