Job Description & Summary
About the role:

PwC is looking for an experienced Senior Associate Events Executive on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join the Event Delivery team in the Integrated Services function. The Event Delivery team provides professional event management advice, planning, and end-to-end delivery for PwC’s client events and large-scale senior internal events. The successful candidate will take personal ownership of every stage of event delivery, from initial planning through to onsite execution and post-event review.
You will be responsible for managing, planning, and delivering a range of client-facing and internal seminars and conferences, principally in person. This will include working with stakeholders to shape event requirements, managing project plans and budgets, coordinating production companies and suppliers, working with our in-house brand and design teams, and overseeing delegate management.
We deliver a high volume of live events, so you will need strong hands-on experience managing in-person events. You should be comfortable managing suppliers and production partners, making sound recommendations, and balancing quality, budget and practical delivery requirements. Experience of virtual events and deeper technical production knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
The role involves working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure events meet their agreed objectives and are delivered to a consistently high standard.
The team operates in an ever-changing environment, and our approach to event delivery continues to evolve. You will therefore need to bring practical insight, sound judgement and an interest in event best practice, audience experience and industry trends.
You will need excellent organisational, influencing and communication skills, with the credibility to build strong relationships with stakeholders. You should be comfortable offering advice, managing expectations and constructively challenging where appropriate. Experience of delivering events at the same scale as PwC is not essential, but you must be able to demonstrate the ownership, judgement and capability to step up into greater scale and complexity.
Your base office will be Embankment Place, with regular onsite attendance at events across internal office locations and external venues. Some travel and irregular hours may be required, including early mornings, late evenings and occasional weekends.

What your days will look like:
  • Agreeing clear objectives, requirements and measures of success for each event, and taking ownership from initial planning through to onsite delivery and post-event review.
  • Creating and managing event registration websites and overseeing the full delegate journey, including registration, attendee data, communications, queries and event updates.
  • Developing and independently managing detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risks and dependencies, ensuring events are delivered within agreed scope and taking practical action to address risks early.
  • Sourcing and selecting venues, audio-visual services, branding and other event suppliers, following appropriate contractual and procurement processes and making recommendations to stakeholders on venues, suppliers, production requirements and delivery options.
  • Leading onsite delivery to ensure events run smoothly, while building effective relationships with key internal groups and external suppliers.
This role is for you if:
  • You have experience independently managing corporate conferences, events or seminars from end to end in a live environment, with demonstrable ownership of event delivery.
  • You have strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage several moving parts, priorities and deadlines at the same time and respond effectively to changing requirements.
  • You have the credibility and communication skills to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, alongside experience managing external suppliers and production partners.
  • You demonstrate sound, confident judgement and proven problem-solving skills.
  • You have strong numeracy skills, with experience managing budgets and making balanced commercial decisions.
  • You bring initiative, self-motivation and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality events.
What you’ll receive from us:

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.
We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
