Senior Associate - Employment - Bristol - 3+ Years PQE

Location: Bristol

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 (dependent on experience)

A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Senior Associate with 3+ years' post-qualification experience to join its Employment team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a Chambers UK and Legal 500 ranked team alongside "Leading Individuals" and contribute to a growing practice with a strong reputation across the UK.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of employment matters, including:

  • Advising employers on disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring and redundancies
  • Leading Employment Tribunal claims (almost exclusively acting for Respondents)
  • Providing employment law support in TUPE matters, corporate deals and outsourcing contracts
  • Drafting contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and other employment documentation
  • Collaborating with Partners and working closely with the wider national Employment team
Candidate Requirements
  • 3+ years PQE in employment law (SRA or Law Society Registered)
  • Strong technical and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence in managing matters independently and engaging with clients at all levels
  • Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
  • Appetite for business development and maintaining strong client relationships
