FindCore are assisting a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy in Manchester to recruit a Project Director / Associate Director for residential and student accommodation schemes. Based in Manchester, you will lead complex new-build developments from feasibility through planning, construction and handover, while owning delivery programmes, budgets and risk.

A background in building safety gateway delivery and strong client relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering residential developments in a consultancy or client-side environment.
• Experience leading new-build developments including student accommodation.
• Experience taking projects through the building safety gateway process.
• Ability to interpret technical reports and translate recommendations into delivery actions.
• Strong knowledge of delivery, procurement routes, contract administration and governance.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and accountability for deliverables.
• Strong commercial awareness to manage project costs, programmes and risks.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• UK driving licence preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead residential and student accommodation projects from feasibility to handover.
• Own project delivery, directing programmes, budgets, quality and risk.
• Coordinate the building safety gateway process with clients and consultants.
• Review engineer recommendations and translate into practical actions.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure actions are completed.
• Act as senior client contact with reliable reporting and proactive solutions.
• Develop and monitor delivery strategies, procurement plans, programmes and budgets.
• Oversee governance, contract administration, change control and risk management.
• Chair project meetings and maintain stakeholder communications.
• Provide senior leadership and escalate issues to drive progress.
