Job summary

FRP Advisory Group in Leeds is seeking an Associate Director – Corporate Finance to lead transaction execution alongside a Partner or Director. You will manage day-to-day deal activities, review key documents, and develop client ideas and pitch materials.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a corporate finance environment, including leading transactions.
• Experience with buyside, sellside, and MBO transactions, including private equity.
• Ability to identify targets and prospects for M&A activity.
• Degree educated and/or Chartered accountant with at least three years’ experience.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong Excel/financial modelling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with key financial data providers such as Capital IQ/Bloomberg.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of transactions on a day-to-day basis, focusing on driving the transaction timetable.
• General project management and directing the work of juniors; review of juniors' work prior to Partner/Director review.
• Prepare or review key documents (IM, Business plan, Heads of Terms, financial models) and input into deal strategy with Director/Partner.
• Originate and deliver potential client ideas, identifying opportunities and leveraging relationships.
• Lead the development of pitch documents and take a leading role in client pitches.
• Develop your own business network to increase origination capabilities over the medium term.
