Job summary

Clyde & Co in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Associate for its Cyber Practice across London / Manchester / Bristol / Glasgow. The role focuses on complex cyber risk matters, including Readiness, Respond and Recover phases, with multi-jurisdictional exposure and regulatory coordination.

The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and litigation skills, experience in breach response, and a solid data protection background.

Qualifications

• Display excellent technical legal skills including drafting and strategy management.
• Strong litigation experience, ideally including technology and/or media disputes.
• Previous cyber experience with a focus on breach response work.
• Minimum of 5 PQE; inclusive approach to suitable candidates.
• The Solicitors Act 1974 requires a practicing certificate.

Responsibilities

• Work with partners who advise clients on Readiness, Respond and Recover phases.
• Handle data protection, technology and media litigation matters.
• Manage cyber security incidents including coordinating with forensics and regulators.
• Lead disputes arising from cyber incidents and defend group actions.
• Support business development and build client relationships in the cyber market.
• Develop strong personal reputation and contribute to thought leadership.
