Job summary

Vertical Recruitment Limited is working with an established multidisciplinary consultancy to appoint an Associate Civil Engineer, a senior role balancing technical delivery, team leadership and client liaison within the Civil Engineering team.

You'll manage a portfolio across development infrastructure, highways, drainage and utilities, guiding designs and mentoring engineers, while collaborating with planning, environmental and other specialists to deliver high-quality projects and sustain

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with Chartered status (ICE or equivalent).
• Strong consultancy background at Principal or Associate level.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects across development infrastructure, highways, drainage, utilities and associated works.
• Provide technical direction, review designs and ensure delivery to quality standards.
• Manage project teams, programmes, resources, budgets and commercial performance.
• Build and maintain client relationships as senior point of contact.
• Mentor engineers and technicians, strengthening capability and team performance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary specialists on complex projects.
• Support new opportunities and growth of the Civil Engineering team.
