Qualifications

• MRICS Building Surveyor with dilapidations and due diligence expertise
• Experience managing dilapidation claims and negotiations across complexities
• Strong commercial real estate knowledge (offices, retail, industrial, leisure)
• Experience mentoring and APC progression
• Proven client engagement and business development capability
• Comfortable leading and developing teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the dilapidations and technical due diligence service
• Lead complex dilapidations instructions for landlords and tenants
• Provide commercially focused advice and robust negotiation strategies
• Manage technical due diligence commissions across commercial property sectors
• Produce high-quality reports and clear risk-based recommendations
• Act as a trusted adviser to key clients
• Build long-term client relationships and identify wider surveying opportunities
• Drive business development through networking and market engagement
• Manage project financial performance, fee proposals, resource planning, budgets and profitability
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior surveyors
• Collaborate across Building Surveying, Project Management, Cost Management, Building Safety & Fire and other service lines
• Monitor market trends, legislation and industry best practice
• Support recruitment, succession planning and team development
• Contribute to regional and national business planning
