Job summary

Gordon Brothers seeks a diligent professional to conduct collateral examinations and due diligence across diverse financing structures in Europe. The role involves on-site and remote reviews of borrower operations, accounting systems, and reporting processes, with exposure to a range of industries and financing structures.

You will analyse financial information, review collateral, and interact with management to assess risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in field examination, audit, due diligence or collateral review.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable and inventory financing.
• Knowledge of Asset Based Lending, Receivables Finance or Structured Finance products.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field examinations and due diligence reviews of accounts receivable, inventory and collateral.
• Analyse financial information, accounting records and management reports.
• Review borrowing base calculations and collateral eligibility criteria.
• Assess operational processes, controls and reporting procedures.
• Interview management and key operational personnel.
• Identify risks, trends and areas requiring further investigation.
• Prepare clear, concise and commercially focused reports for lender and investor clients.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support business development initiatives where appropriate.
