Provide technical support and assistance to the Clinical Engineering equipment management service.
- Special responsibility, under managed supervision, to support and assist the service and repair work activities of the medical equipment support teams.

- The Medical Engineering Department manages and supports a wide range of medical, therapeutic, and diagnostic devices used throughout the Humber Partnership to ensure effective and safe operation with minimal downtime. Equipment includes electrical, electronic, mechanical, computer software, and medical gas systems.
- Medical equipment is a significant organizational asset; its management directly influences the quality of patient care and involves risks if used improperly.
- Working under supervision, the Post holder will perform scheduled preventative maintenance, servicing, repair, calibration, safety, and acceptance testing on appropriate medical equipment. More complex work may be undertaken under supervision of senior staff. High standards of safety and accountability are required.
- The Post holder liaises with clinical and technical staff to identify faults and repair equipment, including work in clinical areas. Flexibility in working patterns is essential to minimize disruption to patient services.
