Job summary

1981 Brewing Company Limited is seeking an experienced brewer to assist across the entire brewing process and quality control. You will help manage ingredients, packaging, and line cleaning to meet DEH standards while liaising with suppliers and venues to promote the brand. Occasional brewery tours may be required.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of experience in brewery or distillery.
• Inline cleaning experience and willingness to conduct line cleaning unsupervised.
• Experience in brewing processes, from mashing in.
• Experience in line cleaning.
• Driving license.
• Ability to operate brewing management system.
• Professional certificate in brewing or distilling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the entire brewing process.
• Assist with quality control measures, cellaring, packaging, and canning process.
• Ensure the brewery is kept clean and sanitary meeting DEH requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers when ordering ingredients and manage inputs inventory.
• Help build customer base and brand; liaise with restaurant clients, bars and other venues to promote the product and brand.
• Conduct or lead brewery tours on an adhoc basis.
