Job summary

Breedon Group plc is recruiting for a senior technical role within the Technical (Product Quality and Development) team at Breedon Head Office in Derbyshire. The role focuses on supporting asphalt and aggregates operations across the South region, with occasional travel to other regions to assist national operations.

You will own FPC control systems, drive technical excellence, review KPIs, and provide guidance to sales and production teams while ensuring compliance with SHW, BS EN, and ISO

Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt and aggregates with quality management and FPC systems.
• Degree-level qualification in civil engineering or construction-related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical excellence and support performance across the business.
• Take ownership of FPC control systems and monitor performance.
• Review KPIs and drive corrective actions; identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance to sales and production teams; support audits.
