Job summary

Breedon Group is seeking an Asphalt Technical Manager to drive technical excellence within their asphalt surfacing operations. This role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact by improving processes and performance across the South of the UK, with potential travel to support wider operations.

Key responsibilities include managing technical resources, monitoring performance, and providing guidance to teams. Candidates should have extensive experience in asphalt and aggregates, along with strong communication and organisational skills. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a technical capacity for asphalt and aggregates.
• Familiarity with SHW, BS EN, ISO 17025 and other relevant standards.
• Ability to manage and resolve major complaints and customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Undertake gap analysis to determine required technical resources.
• Monitor performance of FPC control systems and implement solutions.
• Work closely with local teams to reduce costs and enhance product value.
