Job summary

North Bristol NHS Trust is seeking a GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician with extensive aseptic preparation experience to join the Southmead Hospital Pharmacy team. You will support the Lead Technician, coordinate training, and manage daily workload in a busy hospital aseptic unit.

Recent accreditation experience preferred; training can be offered. You will work 37.5 hours per week in a full-time role, with opportunities to develop within a dynamic NHS Trust.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or Equivalent.
• Current registration with GPhC.
• Evidence of CPD.
• Completion of Pre & In-Process Checks (PIPC).
• Completion of Product Approval Accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Technician in applying EU-GMP and develop training to ensure compliance.
• Manage daily workload and supervise junior staff.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring with QA/QAPSs and ensure staff training.
• Duties include deputising for Lead Technician as required.
