Job Description:

To lead on prevention and intervention to help residents sustain their tenancies. The team is based within the Housing Tenancy Management Team and works with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the Council's vision of keeping communities safe. Responsibilities include intervening and resolving reports of ASB and Domestic Abuse, making referrals/signposting, supporting vulnerable residents, developing partnerships, assessing and managing risk, and employing intervention measures for positive outcomes.

Key duties include:

• Address reports of ASB and Domestic Abuse
• Support victims of Domestic Abuse within HRA and General needs stock, ensuring risk assessment, referrals, and safety plans
• Attend meetings with stakeholders to resolve ASB cases
• Deliver a resident-focused response to ASB complaints and tenancy breaches
• Create and manage action plans for case resolution
• Utilize legislation and good practices for preventative and legal actions, including mediation
• Conduct interviews with complainants, witnesses, and alleged perpetrators
• Prepare and serve legal notices, and represent the organization in court as needed
• Ensure positive customer experience and effective communication
• Build rapport with victims, families, and perpetrators
• Provide detailed reports based on evidence and analysis
• Handle child and adult safeguarding matters promptly
• Manage complex cases involving vulnerable perpetrators of ASB and abuse

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Full driving licence and use of a vehicle
• Experience managing tenancy-related breaches in the public sector
