Job summary

Magnet is seeking an ambitious Area Sales Manager to drive growth across High-Rise, Build to Rent (BTR), Social Housing and regional private housing projects in the North West. You will develop and maintain key customer relationships, secure new opportunities and manage a profitable sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience across products and services.
• Strong understanding of new-build construction sales.
• Experience or knowledge of the KBB (Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom) sector is advantageous.
• Track record in new business acquisition and account development.
• Experience managing long sales cycles, tender processes and complex opportunities.
• Knowledge of high-rise/BTR, social housing, and private development markets is beneficial.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand relationships through stakeholder engagement.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities via prospecting, networking and market engagement.
• Manage a sales pipeline to deliver order intake and revenue targets.
• Qualify opportunities based on commercial viability and strategic fit.
• Develop detailed project briefs with estimating teams to create competitive proposals.
• Present solutions, proposals and value propositions to customers and key decision-makers.
• Manage the customer journey with clear communication between customer and internal teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain accurate CRM records for forecasting and planning.
• Provide market intelligence and competitor insights.
