Job summary

Magnet is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth and develop new-build opportunities across High-Rise, BTR, Social Housing and Regional Private Housebuilding in the South East. You will build relationships, identify opportunities and manage a sales pipeline to meet revenue targets.

This high-visibility role requires stakeholder engagement, market insight, and collaboration with estimating teams to craft competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience across both products and services.
• Strong understanding of new-build construction sales.
• Service within the KBB (Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom) sector.
• Successful track record in both new business acquisition and account development.
• Experience managing long sales cycles, tender processes and complex opportunities.
• Knowledge of high-rise/BTR, social housing, and private development markets is advantageous.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Customer focused with an organised and target-driven approach.
• Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Building and expanding relationships through effective stakeholder engagement.
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and market engagement.
• Managing a sales pipeline to deliver order intake and revenue targets.
• Qualifying opportunities based on commercial viability, strategic fit and operational capability.
• Developing detailed project briefs and working closely with estimating teams to create competitive proposals.
• Presenting solutions, proposals and value propositions to customers and key decision-makers.
• Managing the customer journey, ensuring effective communication between the customer and internal teams.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records to support forecasting, planning and reporting.
• Providing market intelligence, competitor insights and business performance updates.
