Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment is recruiting an Area Sales Manager (Mechanical Reliability) to own a portfolio of blue-chip industrial accounts in Southern England. You will leverage a mechanical engineering background to sell condition-monitoring equipment, grow relationships with engineering managers and technicians, and travel across the territory with autonomy.

The role offers a home-based/field-based setup with a company car, a 37.5-hour week, and a clear path to senior sales leadership.

Qualifications

• Technical sales or account management experience in mechanical engineering.
• Qualification in mechanical engineering and understanding of electromechanical machinery.
• Experience selling industrial equipment or engineering services.
• Strong relationship-building and autonomous working style.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of blue-chip industrial accounts.
• Build relationships with engineering managers and technical decision-makers.
• Understand customers' mechanical equipment needs and propose solutions.
• Sell condition-monitoring and vibration-analysis equipment.
• Travel across Southern England with four site visits per week and flexible schedule.
• Develop technical knowledge through accredited training.
