Job summary

Nina's Nurseries is seeking an experienced Area Manager to provide senior operational leadership across seven nurseries in Greater London. You will strengthen management teams, uphold high standards and drive consistency across sites, while supporting safeguarding and compliance.

The role offers a four-day week (40 hours), a senior leadership position, and opportunities to make a real difference across the network.

Qualifications

Significant nursery management experience across multiple settings.
Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
Confident, approachable and supportive leadership.
Willingness to travel between settings with UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership across seven nursery settings.
Coach, mentor and develop nursery managers and deputies.
Build a strong, collaborative management culture.
Support recruitment, staffing and workforce planning.
Monitor nursery performance, occupancy and operational standards; conduct visits and audits.
Ensure clear communication, accountability and consistency.
Work with Quality Manager to support safeguarding, compliance and continuous improvement.
Identify and develop future leaders within the business.
