Job summary

Penguin Recruitment seeks a Senior Architectural Technologist in Salisbury to lead technical design on a varied portfolio, predominantly residential, with community and commercial projects. You will drive technical drawings, coordinate with consultants, and oversee submissions through the design and delivery stages.

You will work with a collaborative team, using Revit to produce detailed information, and contribute to site meetings while developing expertise and maintaining high standards in

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or a relevant architectural qualification.
• Proven experience in an architectural practice or architectural technology environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience producing detailed technical information using Revit.
• Solid understanding of technical design, construction detailing and project delivery.
• Residential project experience is highly desirable; experience in commercial or community sectors is beneficial.
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant construction standards.
• Strong coordination, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage your own workload, work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach with ownership of technical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop detailed technical drawings and construction information using Revit.
• Take responsibility for projects through technical design and construction delivery.
• Coordinate architectural information with consultants, contractors and the wider project team.
• Prepare and contribute to planning and Building Regulations submissions.
• Produce comprehensive drawing packages, schedules and specifications.
• Attend and contribute to design, coordination and site meetings.
• Monitor technical information to ensure delivery on programme and quality.
• Provide technical input and support to junior team members.
• Apply knowledge of construction methods, detailing and UK Building Regulations.
• Assist with resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
