Job summary

TipTopJob in Preston is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its multidisciplinary team. You will produce technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, compile detailed construction information, and progress designs through all project stages.

A solid background in UK construction, a qualification in Architectural Technology, and CIAT accreditation or ongoing pursuit are preferred. The role offers a 37-hour week, a strong benefits package, and ongoing BIM coordination exposure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Architectural Technician or Technologist.
• Background working within the UK construction sector.
• A qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity working in a BIM environment.
• Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations.
• CIAT accreditation, or actively working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Producing technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Compiling detailed construction documentation
• Progressing designs across all project stages
• Preparing information for planning submissions and Building Regulations
• Liaising with clients and consultant teams
• Assisting with BIM coordination throughout project delivery
• Taking part in meetings and site visits
• Troubleshooting technical and construction-related challenges
