Job summary

Aztrum is delighted to partner with a well-established architectural practice in Manchester to recruit a Senior Architectural Technologist. You will produce detailed technical drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD, supporting a diverse project portfolio across residential, commercial, retail, and education sectors.

You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers and clients, conduct site visits, check building regulations, and help deliver buildable, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• A degree or HND in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD with a solid understanding of BIM workflows.
• Sound knowledge of UK building regulations and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and consultants to develop buildable design solutions.
• Carry out site visits and surveys, monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technologist role:

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop efficient and buildable design solutions.
• Carry out site visits and surveys, monitor construction progress, and ensure compliance with current building regulations and design intent.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and wider project teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure smooth project delivery.
