Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd in Bristol is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join a busy Retail & Commercial team. You will take projects through detailed design and technical delivery, and develop high-quality drawing packages in Revit.

You will coordinate information with structural, MEP and other consultants, prepare Building Regulations submissions, and review technical information to resolve design queries.

Qualifications

• Experienced Architectural Technologist with a strong UK practice background.
• Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge.
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design information.

Senior Architectural Technologist, Bristol, £38k - £47k DOE

A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join its growing Bristol team. The consultancy has been operating successfully for over 50 years, with an outstanding reputation for staff retention, many employees have built long term careers, supported by structured mentoring and clear progression routes.

Working within a busy Retail & Commercial team, you'll play a key role in the technical delivery of a programme of projects for major national clients. This would suit someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment, can confidently take ownership of technical packages and is comfortable coordinating information across multiple projects.

You'll work closely with Architects, consultants and the wider project team, taking design information through into detailed technical and construction packages.

The Role:

• Taking projects through detailed design and technical delivery

Requirements:

• Experienced Architectural Technologist with a strong UK practice background
• Revit proficiency is essential
• Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design information
• Confident managing your own workload and taking responsibility for project delivery
• Retail/commercial experience would be beneficial, although not essential
• MCIAT achieved or working towards would be advantageous
