Job summary

Bimplus is recruiting a Senior Architectural Technologist for its London studio in Farringdon, contributing to high-rise residential projects valued from £10M to over £200M. The role requires strong technical detailing, Revit proficiency, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver BIM Level 2 construction packages.

The successful candidate will participate in risk assessments, QA reviews, and site meetings, while supporting junior staff and advancing BIM workflows within a Hybrid

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industry experience.
• CIAT membership or working towards accreditation advantageous.
• Live within a commutable distance of Farringdon, London.
• Proven technical detailing capability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality technical and construction packages using Revit within a BIM Level 2 environment.
• Coordinate architectural and technical design with internal design teams and external consultants.
• Produce and manage detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules across all project stages.
• Navigate the technical requirements of highly regulated environments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Engage in risk assessments, QA reviews, and technical audits for infrastructure work.
• Attend site meetings and monitor construction, resolving site queries.
• Contribute to BIM workflow improvements and guide junior team members.

Working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to long-term, nationally significant developments. These projects push the boundaries of design, precision and compliance. These are challenging yet highly rewarding schemes that require exceptional technical skills and a collaborative approach. Candidates applying should also have either a strong interest or good knowledge of the Building Safety Act.

Senior Architectural Technologist Position Overview
