Job summary

Baily Garner LLP is seeking a Senior Architect to lead design teams on a variety of UK projects from Newcastle to Manchester. You will drive architectural solutions, coordinate with consultants, and oversee planning submissions within a BIM-enabled environment.

The role requires chartered status, post-chartership experience, and strong AutoCAD/Revit skills. A hybrid working model, competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Chartered Architect (RIBA) or equivalent with UK project delivery experience.
• Post Chartership experience delivering projects across RIBA stages.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with BIM experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and meetings, clear client communications.
• Guide team members to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Support procurement and tender activities, review proposals.
• Develop client briefs, design proposals, drawings and specs.
• Coordinate architectural designs with consultants and project requirements.
• Undertake site analysis and required surveys.
• Lead planning and building regulations submissions and approvals.
• Deliver coordinated technical packages for tender and construction.
• Manage planning conditions and building control information.
• Review contractor data and undertake site inspections.
• Deliver projects across residential, care, education and emergency services.
