Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Winchester is seeking a Senior Architect to lead residential projects from inception through to completion, ensuring compliance with building regulations and planning requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients and consultants, mentor junior staff, and contribute to masterplanning opportunities, with ARB registration and proficiency in Revit or Vectorworks.

Qualifications

• ARB registered with significant post-RIBA qualification experience in a UK practice.
• Proficient with Revit or Vectorworks and competent in design development.
• Experience managing residential projects and masterplanning is advantageous.
• Experience across all RIBA work stages and client liaison.
• Ability to develop a robust pipeline of work and lead junior team members.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; willing to commute to Winchester.

Duties for the role of Senior Architect:

• Lead on a range of residential projects from inception through to completion
• Prepare building regulations, planning and technical information

• Liaise with clients and consultants to build and maintain strong working relationships

Requirements for the role of Senior Architect:

• ARB registered
• Significant post RIBA qualification experience as an Architect within a UK practice
• Proficient with Revit or Vectorworks

• Experience with Masterplanning is advantageous
