We’re working with a respected, multi-disciplinary consultancy to find an experienced Technical Architect with proven expertise in fire remediation and high-risk residential buildings. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of technically complex projects, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality across RIBA Stages 4-6.
The Role:
You’ll play a key role in the technical delivery of fire remediation and residential schemes—many of which are classified as high-risk. This position requires excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, BRPD, and strong experience using Revit and BIM to produce coordinated technical design packages. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, overseeing the delivery process from technical design to completion on site.
Responsibilities:
Lead technical delivery across RIBA Stages 4-6 on fire remediation and high-risk residential projects.
Develop detailed and compliant technical drawings using Revit within a BIM environment.
Ensure full compliance with Building Regulations and BRPD.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe, timely, and compliant project delivery.
Conduct site visits, attend inspections, and support contract administration during construction phases.
Key Requirements:
ARB Registered Architect or experienced Technical Architect.
Significant experience working on high-risk residential and fire remediation projects.
Strong working knowledge of BRPD and relevant fire safety guidance.
Proficient in Revit and confident in a BIM-coordinated design environment.
Demonstrable experience managing projects through RIBA Stages 4-6.
Excellent technical, communication, and coordination skills.
