Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Senior Architect to join a multidisciplined practice in Durham. You will lead on large scale commercial projects through all RIBA stages, liaise with clients and contractors, and deliver detailed Revit drawings and construction documents.

The ideal candidate is ARB registered with strong post RIBA Part 3 experience in a UK practice, proficient in Revit, and capable of independent work as well as collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• ARB registered architect with UK practice experience.
• Strong post RIBA Part 3 qualification experience.
• Proficiency with Revit essential.
• Experience managing projects across sectors.
• Excellent drawing and design skills.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead on large scale commercial projects through all RIBA stages.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and team members.
• Produce detailed drawings and construction documents using Revit.
• Carry out site visits and ensure quality and compliance.
• Coordinate architectural drawings and specifications.

Duties for the role of Senior Architect:

• Lead on large scale commercial projects through all RIBA work stages
• Liaise alongside clients, contractors and other members of the team
• Produce detailed drawing packages using Revit
• Carry out site visits and ensure high quality and compliance is achieved
• Carry out architectural drawings and specifications and construction documentations

Skills and experience for the role of Senior Architect:

• ARB registered
• Strong post RIBA Part 3 qualification experience as an Architect within a UK practice
• Proficiency with Revit is essential
• Experience managing projects across various sectors
• Excellent drawing and design skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team
