Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Architect to join a Leeds-based practice. You will work across the RIBA work stages and take increasing responsibility for project delivery, developing planning, technical and construction drawings, including specifications and schedules.

You will coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure budgets and timelines are met. The ideal candidate is ARB-registered with post-qualification experience, has strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations,

Qualifications

• ARB-registered Architect with post-qualification experience.
• Experience across multiple RIBA work stages within a UK practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning policy.
• Proficient in Revit with understanding of BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects from concept through to completion across the RIBA stages.
• Develop planning, technical and construction drawing packages, including specifications.
• Coordinate information with internal teams, consultants and clients.
• Ensure delivery in line with programme, budget and UK legislation.
• Attend client meetings, design reviews, and site visits as required.
• Support bids, presentations and business development when appropriate.

Ideal Candidate

• ARB-registered Architect with relevant post-qualification experience
• Experience working across multiple RIBA work stages within a UK architectural practice
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning policy, and construction detailing
• Proficient in Revit with a good understanding of BIM workflows
• Strong design, technical, communication, and organisational skills
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
