Job summary

Bimplus, a multidisciplinary consultancy in Colchester, is seeking a Senior Architect to lead residential and commercial projects from inception to completion. You will produce drawings, liaise with clients and contractors, and manage tender submissions.

The ideal candidate is ARB registered with post Part 3 experience in a UK practice, proficient in AutoCAD, and capable of leading a team while delivering high-quality design across all RIBA stages.

Qualifications

• ARB registered and eligible to practise in the UK.
• Significant post RIBA Part 3 experience as an Architect within a UK practice.
• Experience delivering residential and commercial projects.
• Strong experience across all RIBA work stages.
• Proficient with AutoCAD.
• Experience managing a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Live within a commutable distance to Colchester.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver on residential and commercial projects from inception through to completion.
• Prepare quotations and tender submissions.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other external team members.
• Produce detailed drawing packages, specifications and construction documentation.
• Carry out site visits and surveys to ensure technical compliance is achieved.
