Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Applications Architect to join the Hampshire-based, site-based Transformation team. You will shape architecture roadmaps, guide development teams, and deliver end-to-end technical solutions across EDRMS, client-side, server-side, and modernization initiatives.

The role emphasizes secure design, DevSecOps integration, SAFe agile delivery, and strong stakeholder engagement, supporting complex transformation programmes for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Experience as Applications/Solution/Technical Architect.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience with EDRMS.
• Experience with OpenText or IBM FileNet.
• Experience with private cloud and web apps.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical oversight for EDRMS and content management platforms.
• Design secure deployment models for desktop and end-user applications; manage packaging and configuration.
• Design and maintain secure hosting architectures for private cloud environments and various application platforms.
• Identify opportunities for application modernization and service improvements and support migrations.
• Apply security-by-design principles; collaborate with DevSecOps for secure delivery and automation.
• Operate within SAFe Agile delivery; participate in ceremonies and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Build relationships with customer architects and delivery teams; provide technical guidance across teams.
