Job Description:

Our client operates a high availability environment, providing live streaming and data services to external clients. They use cutting-edge technology to achieve high performance and strive for continuous improvement.

As a Senior Application Support, you will set standards for the Application Team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support corporate systems hosted on Azure.

Your role includes acting as an escalation point, providing technical expertise, and supporting the team with coaching and continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge of microservices architecture is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting applications and platforms up to 3rd line support
• Collaborating with external Service Desk and review meetings for service analysis
• Mentoring and coaching team members, supporting a culture of continuous improvement
• Understanding of microservices architecture and related environments

About you:

• Experience acting as Senior/Lead within a team, mentoring colleagues
• Application and platform support experience, supporting users up to 3rd line
• Azure experience is essential
• Kubernetes and Message brokers (Apache/Red Hat) experience are desirable

Working arrangements:

Hybrid working: 2 days office-based, 3 days remote

Office location: Milton Keynes

Salary and Benefits:

Salary up to £55,000 + benefits including up to 10% bonus, up to 10% pension contribution, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private healthcare, holiday purchase scheme, and more.
