The Senior Application Architect supports the development of the Digitalisation Strategy for SP Energy Networks (SPEN). This role ensures architecture and data processes align with the business’s strategic goals.

SPEN manages a complex application estate covering IT and OT that requires continuous evolution to deliver digital services supporting business operations, including Regulatory, Customer Service, ERP, GIS, Field Work Management, Operational Management System, and Business Intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise architecture frameworks, focusing on new digital technologies like IoT.
• Collaborate with IT teams, data governance, and global networks to align architecture with Iberdrola standards.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Define business-specific architectures, evaluating and integrating necessary standards and components.
• Support application standards across Iberdrola Networks and contribute to innovation projects.

Requirements

• Experience supporting D&D strategies and enterprise-wide architecture development.
• Proven experience in solution design, technology selection, and evaluation.
• Significant IT experience in application roles.
• Academic qualifications such as a degree or diploma.
• Experience managing budgets or contracts with suppliers.
• Willingness to travel internationally and hold a driving license.
