NVIDIA is looking for an outstanding, passionate, and talented Senior Software & System Architect to join our Software Architecture group. The position involves researching new technologies with a focus on defining architectures for groundbreaking technologies across domains such as networking, security, virtualization, and orchestration. You will play a vital role in developing cutting-edge data center networking and security solutions. Our Architecture group comprises world-class architects responsible for designing the next-generation architectures for our DPU & NIC technologies. You will collaborate with various teams globally, including software architects, R&D, product teams, solution architects, and external customers. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact a dynamic, technology-driven company shaping the future of data center technologies.

What you will be doing:

• Lead architecture for cloud-networking and security solutions
• Design state-of-the-art system architectures for DPU & NIC technologies
• Build end-to-end solutions from application level to hardware
• Provide innovative and rapid solutions for complex problems
• Write clear, effective, and reliable architecture specifications
• Evaluate new technologies and develop POC prototypes for full product development
• Collaborate with global teams, including SW & HW architects, R&D, product, and solution teams
• Work with high-profile customers on advanced technologies and solutions

What we need to see:

• B.Sc/M.Sc/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• At least 4 years of experience as a Software or System Architect
• At least 4 years of experience as a Software Developer
• Deep knowledge of C and Python
• Experience in cloud networking
• Comprehensive understanding of networking protocols and topologies
• Strong skills in design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving
• Ability to work concurrently with multiple teams locally and internationally
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills

Ways to stand out:

• Experience with networking/security devices like NICs, DPUs, switches, routers, firewalls
• Good understanding of operating systems and drivers
• Background in data center technologies, network topologies, and cloud environments
• Experience with DPDK, OVS, OVN
• Experience with Docker, Containers, Kubernetes
