Job summary

Valtech is seeking a Senior Appian Development Consultant to design and deliver scalable Appian solutions that boost operational efficiency and automate manual processes for enterprise clients. You will lead design, configuration, and development, working with multidisciplinary teams to translate business requirements into robust applications.

You will mentor junior developers, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to Agile ceremonies while advancing delivery quality and adopting new Appian

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Appian solutions within complex client environments.
• Strong experience developing Appian applications using Records, Record Types, Relationships, SAIL Interfaces, Process Models, Sites, Reports and CDTs.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, data modelling and enterprise data structures.
• Comfortable working in blended client/vendor teams and adapting to client tools and processes.
• Experience designing integrations using Connected Systems, Web APIs and external services (REST/SOAP).
• Experience optimising performance, using Appian Health Check and monitoring.
• Experience Appian security models, deployments and release pipelines.
• Ability to produce technical design docs and deliver high-quality solutions against acceptance criteria.
• Strong knowledge of Appian best practices and enterprise design principles.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams with stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration and development of enterprise Appian applications.
• Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable and aligned to Appian best practices.
• Contribute across the delivery lifecycle from technical design to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers and engineers to balance requirements with practicality.
• Mentor junior developers and elevate engineering quality across teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, refine backlog and support sprint demos.
• Maintain delivery quality through reviews, unit tests and deployment management.
• Pursue continuous learning of Appian capabilities and emerging AI features.
