Job summary

Valtech is seeking an experienced Lead Appian Consultant to drive enterprise Appian delivery, shape solution architecture and lead multi-disciplinary delivery teams. You will mentor consultants, guide architecture decisions and engage directly with senior client stakeholders to define and implement scalable Appian solutions.

You will oversee design, security and performance, align with best practices, and contribute to pre-sales and technical proposals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Appian delivery programmes within complex consulting environments.
• Architecting Appian applications across Records, Relational data and CDTs with scalable reuse.
• Strong SQL, data modelling and integration design across multiple systems.
• Experience planning for scalability and performance, with CI/CD across environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior client engagement.
• Mentoring developers and leading high-performing technical teams.
• Experience contributing to pre-sales, solution design or technical bids.
• A passion for continuous learning and advancing Appian best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of enterprise Appian solutions ensuring scalability, security and maintainability.
• Provide technical direction across delivery teams and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers and engineers to balance business and technical goals.
• Lead Agile delivery teams, plan sprints, estimate work and drive continuous improvement.
• Own deployment workflows and CI/CD strategy across a programme.
• Mentor consultants and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities and technical proposals.
