Job summary

Valtech, the experience innovation company, is seeking a Lead Appian Consultant to join its enterprise delivery teams. You’ll guide architecture, mentor consultants, and collaborate with senior client stakeholders to implement scalable Appian solutions.

You’ll lead Agile delivery, manage deployments and CI/CD strategies, ensure security and performance, and contribute to pre-sales and capability development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Appian delivery programmes in complex environments.
• Architecting Appian applications across Records, Record Types, Relationships, SAIL, Process Models, Sites, Reports and CDTs.
• Strong SQL, data modelling, and database architecture understanding.
• Experience designing enterprise integration architectures and evaluating build-vs-buy decisions.
• Planning for scalability, monitoring, and CI/CD across environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior client engagement.
• Mentoring developers and leading high-performing technical teams.
• Experience contributing to pre-sales, solution design, or technical bid responses.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of enterprise Appian solutions, ensuring scalability and security.
• Provide technical direction across delivery teams and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, product managers and engineers on solution design.
• Lead Agile delivery teams, manage sprint planning, estimation and demonstrations.
• Coach consultants and foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.
• Own deployment workflows, CI/CD strategy, environment and release governance.
• Contribute to pre-sales, thought leadership and reusable accelerators.
